I grew up Vegan. My parents belonged to PETA way before it was cool so I grew up with scary videos and tons of protesting. I actually belong to PETA and run a small group, but I find it hard to protest and be a member when I am no longer Vegan. I eat and wear animals now
ps. Speaking of cold, it might snow this week and that scars me. I’ve never driven in snow. AND there was a ton of black ice on the roads this morning.
Yeah, i’m all for treating animals nice and all, but when it goes as far as trying to tell little kids that their parents are evil if they fish or hunt… I draw the line.
In Iowa… if nobody hunted.. the deer population would get HUGE. (It’s already big now.. thousands of deer are hit by cars every year..) But if nobody hunted… the population would get so big, that they would not find enough food and would starve to death.. that’s not good either.
Moderation… that’s the key… it’s good to be against torturing animals… but not hunting and fishing… moderation is the way.
p.s. If it gets icy, drive nice and slow.. it is easy to lose control, especially if you are new to that kind of driving.
This Saturday…. I’ve been running trying to get ready… Not too excited cause I think it is outside and it is getting hella cold this week. But it will be fun.
