Louisiana joins battle over violent video games
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) and the Entertainment Merchants Association on Friday filed suit in the Federal District Court of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to overturn the new law, saying similar laws have been struck down by six courts in five years.
Seriously…. think of all this money that got wasted spending time passing this stupid bill, now all the money in court and lawyer costs to get it overturned… What a waste. You suck Governor Blanco, but everybody already knew that anyway.
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. I will never vote for anybody who votes for a ban on this stuff.. never.
Video games do not take a normal kid and turn them into a violent killing freak… The kid has something wrong to begin with and it is lack of parenting that it does not get recognized. Howabout a law to ban dumb parents!!

Isn’t this also the same state where they have gay festivals and week long public orgies also known as Mardi Gras? The Message: We don’t care about cleaning up…others will come and do that for us. We’ll spend our money to stop this crazy video game thing, cause that’s the biggest threat to us right now. Yes, kids, it’s ok to show your boobs to get some plastic beads, get piss drunk and make an ass out of yourself on a ggw video, but God forbid you play a game where you might shoot a cartoon character, or steal a cop car and run over some hari krishnas. Whatever. Politicians are idiots.
