Your #1 ranked Panthers also saw their perfect season come to an end when they ran in the the Penguins of Youngstown State Saturday in the Dome.

The offense played very flat the first three quarters. While the defense did give up a couple long drives, the ‘guins still only managed to score 13 first half points. So the ‘D’ kept our Panthers in the game, no doubt.

The Panthers went into the 4th quarter down 0-13 but had awesome back to back touchdown scoring drives to go up 14-13.

That one point was all the Panther ‘D’ needed. The shut down the ‘guins on two times the last 5 minutes of the game.

The Penguins really needed to win that game to keep their playoff hopes alive. But we all know Panthers eat penguins so now their dreams are done for at least this year.
