Fred Thompson is currently in Iowa doing his president thing. He was in Decorah Tuesday morning and was in Waterloo that night. However, I got the 411 that he was going to stop in Waverly for a few minutes between locations.
So I went down to the Waverly newspaper building and got to see his massive bus pull up and got to shake his hand and get his picture taken.
He is one tall dude. One of the dudes there, Brad Gade, brought his Days of Thunder DVD and Fred signed it! Way cool!! His wife, Jeri, was there as well. She is very pretty.

I had never really looked at his wife that closely, but the age difference seems kind a creepy now.

Jeremie.. She is in her 40’s, but the fact that she looks way younger then her age makes it look like a bigger span.
