I watched some of the Republican debate last night. Boy did McCain stink up the joint. He is a poster boy for Viagra. He was all limp and hunched over his microphone while Romney was sitting up strait as a board…heh. With McCain all hunched over I kept waiting for him to jump up and yell, “FIRE BAD!!”

A few things really bothered me about McCain last night. One was the fact he spent like a million years trying t pin a “timetable” go leave Iraq on Romney. From what I’ve read, that’s been pretty much denounced as false, but he kept trying.. I don’t think he came off looking very good after that exchange.

The other thing was his cheap shot about Romney running a business… He said something like “He bought and he sold and sometimes people lost their jobs.” No shit old man, that’s how things work in the real world. You know.. in business you need to actually run a tight ship so you can make money.. you know, the American dream. You’ve been in Washington WAY TO LONG. In the real world you can run up a gajillion dollar debt while you keep adding people to the government dole. Jebus man. Let’s punish a guy for being a sucessful business man. You sounds like a friggen hippy liberal. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.) p.s. there is.

Huckabee, well, we don’t need another former Arkansas governor. Blame Clinton for that one Huck.

I do like Ron Paul, he has some great domestic ideas, but once he hits the waters edge, forget about it. I liked how they asked Paul about McCain’s comment about being in Iraq for 100 years. Duh, the guy didn’t want to go to Iraq so how do you think he is going to answer? You’re dumb Anderson Cooper.

FYI: WWII ended over 60 years ago and we STILL have troops in Japan and Germany. The Korean war ended over 50 years ago and we STILL have troops in South Korea… 100 years in the MidEast doesn’t seem that far off, does it?

P.S. Stephen Green at Vodkapundit drunkblogged the debate. I should really do that sometime. I love drinking and I love watching TV, why not combine the two?
