You suck, ESPN, suck balls. I wish I could quit you.
My dad, brother and I were watching the Cubs v. Dodgers last night on ESPN 2 in sweet sweet High Def in our cabin in Tennessee. First off they were on our bad side because this was the 2nd day in a row they were on ESPN. Both nights they had Rick Sutcliffe as the color guy. He may be a nice guy and a pretty good pitcher in his day, but a color man he is NOT. I do NOT want to listen to him and Boomer spend two days talking about his stupid career. Talk about the game, fool. Quit cutting to the booth so we miss pitches…
That was not a super big deal. I got over that…..
However, this is what really set us off. Bottom of the 8th, the Cubs are coming up to bat down 0-1 and BAM they leave the game and go out live to the Red Sox game to see piece of crap Man Ram bat!!!!! WHO CARES!!! Big fricken deal that he is going for 500 HR’s. Nobody cares… You don’t need to cut away from a close game for THAT!!! Stupid Man Ram’s at bat took about 20 pitches and we missed the entire 8th inning!!
Screw you ESPN! I feel better now…
Just outside of London, Kentucky… Eighty miles from Knoxville.

Went to the Cubs game today. We beat the Pirates 4-3. It was awesome. Here I am, seriously in the middle of nowhere between Chicago and the Quad Cities and I have high speed Verizon Broadband Internet. Awesome. I love technology.
Of course I forgot a USB cable to hook my camera to my computer to upload pictures, but oh well.

p.s. I’m not driving!
I’m working on my graphic arts skills… it’s harder then it seems.

Mark your calendars bike fans. June 28th we are riding our butts around Bremer County. We’ve talked about it before but this year myself and my friend Sandra (pictured here with the great Fred Thompson) have decided to put together a bike ride for Bremer County.
It has two names kinda sorta. Let’s see if I can explain this right. It’s not an official organized ride, at least not this year, we don’t really know how it will play out. The first name we game up is the UGRAB. The Unofficial Great Bike Ride Around Bremer. It’s a nice respectible name in the event that it would become some “official” ride like several cities and counties have.
However, it has an unofficial name, it’s a sweet name that T-Shirts will be made for. The Great Roll Around Bremer And Summer Social. You got it, folks, the GRABASS. Anyway, the map is below. As you can see it is about a 60 mile route. We will start in Waverly and go through the towns of Denver, Readlyn, Tripoli, Fredericka, Horton, Bremer and back to Waverly. Obviously folks who did not want to do the full 60 miles could stop in any town along the way. There is a two miles section of Highway 63 after Fredericka that I do not recommend anybody ride their bikes on. We will have vehicles, probably Team Punch-n-Pie’s bus to move folks those two miles. If you want to ride 63, be my guest.
The ‘And Summer Social’ part of the GRABASS will take place at my house after the event.
Further details will follow.
