This is my reward for the long day… Man they taste good!
At Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It is fricken hot. Well, not right now it ain’t. It’s 10:49 PM Orlando time, 9:49 you Central Standard Time bastards.
Did I mention it was hot? Yeah, upper 90’s with ultra humidity. Like Iowa the end of July so I’m used to it except back home we get some time to ramp up to it. Seems like we’re missing uber floods back home so I guess I shouldn’t complain.
We had a 7PM flight out of Minneapolis Sunday night to land in Orlando at 10 CST so 11 EST… it took off more like 7:45 or maybe even eight. We had to fly around storms and crap and didn’t even land until midnight… An hour later then we should have. Well we pull up to the damn stop to unload and the stupid skyramp is broke so some tardbucket had to toe the plane to a new spot.
Who ever this dude was, he wasn’t a skilled plane tower. Jebus he would move the plan forward a foot then back a foot then forward a foot then back a foot. He finally got us close to the parking spot but the idiot did not know the turning radius of a 747 so he did not turn sharp enough so he had to back up and forward.. back up and forward…. for EVER!! It was over an hour after we landed that we finally got off the plane. Once we got to the hotel and got checked in and to bed it was almost 3AM EST. Not much sleep before we got up and went to the Magic Kingdom.
The Magic Kingdom was a blast.
Ellie and I did Splash Mountain much to the chagrin of the wife. Ellie, however, loved it. She has no fear when it comes to roller coasters I guess.
